The new upcoming Oriya movie Hata Dhari Chalutha has one of the trademark features of the director Chandi Parija. This is his third film, and like the two other predecessors, the shooting locations of Hata Dhari Chalutha are also entirely in Orissa. Ideally, Mr. Parija thinks that the locale of an Oriya movie should primarily be Odisha, unless the plot demands shooting at other places. Nowadays, in the Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood and other film industries of India, the increasing trend is to shoot musical scenes abroad like in the mountains of Switzerland or in the streets of an overseas country. In Hata Dhari Chalutha, songs and music videos are entirely shoot in Orissa. Hata Dhari Chalutha songs and dance sequences are therefore very much local, to which an audience constituting average Oriya people can relate themselves quite easily.
