Special Arrangement at Nandankanan on the eve of Christmas and New Year 2012
On the eve of Christmas and New Year 2012, the management of Nandankanan specially arranged at Zoological and Botanical Garden of Nandankanan. Special Arrangement at Nandankanan on the eve of Christmas and New Year 2012
Bhubaneswar Commissionrate Police prearranged one section force at Botanical and Zoological Garden of Nandankanan to control crime, loot and any kind of wrong/illegal incidents. Tourists were strictly alerted to not bring any cooked food and polythene into the garden campus. 5 no. plot bus stand and Jagannath temple aside area was picked for parking all kind of vehicles. Bangali road was closed for Nandankanan tourist; however, Barang main road's Sitaram Bazar Square to Darutheng-Chandaka road was opened until January 1st 2012. To control excess ticketing, 2 more ticket counters also opened (i.e. 6 instead of 4 counters). Sufficient Drinking water facility, Primary health center, doctors, firemen, traffic police were too arranged on this eve.
