The institute is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha and approved by AICTE and Govt. Of Odisha. Accredited "A" Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of UGC & NBA by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It is known for its infrastructure facilities, quality education, discipline environment and placement opportunities. It has been counted in one of the best engineering institutions of India.
