In 2012 calender year, totally 14 days have given to Central Govt employees in Odisha. From these 14 days, 3 days are falling on Sunday. Besides these 14 days, 3 restricted holidays have also given but these Holidays will be decided by the coordination committee.   6. Independence Day- 15th August 2012 (Wednesday)
  7. Idul' Fiter- 20th August 2012 (Monday)
  8. Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti- 2nd October 2012 (Tuesday)
  9. Dussehra- 24th October 2012 (Wednesday)
  10. Idul Zuha- 27th October 2012 (Saturday)
  11. Diwali- 13th November 2012 (Tuesday)
  12. Muharram- 25th November 2012 (Sunday)
  13. Guru Nanak Jayanti- 28th November 2012 (Wednesday)
  14. Christmas Day- 25th December 2012 (Tuesday)

Besides these 14 holidays, the Central Govt employees can take another 3 restricted holidays (according to the order of coordination committee) on any of the below given days.
The days are:-An additional day for Dussehra, Holi, Janamasthami, Ram navami, Maha Shivratri, Gensh Chaturthi, Makar Sankaranti, Rath Yatra, Onam, Pongal, Sri Panchami, Vaisakhi/ Chhath Pooja/ Karva Chauth/ Vishu/ Vaisakhadi/ Bhag Bihu/ Mashadi Ugadi/ Chaitra Sakladi/ Cheti Chand/ Gudi Pada 1st Navaratra/ Nauraj.

    Besides these 23 holidays, the Odisha state Govt employees can take another 3 restricted holidays (according to the order of coordination committee) on any of the below given days.
    The days are : Guru Govind Singh Jayanti, Bhogi / Makar Sankranti, Foundation day of Bramha Samaj, Day following Shivaratri, Mahavir Jayanti, Easter Saturday , Birth Day of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das,Bahuda Yatra etc.
