State film awards 2010

Prafull samal the culture minister on 11th December 2011 announced the state film awards 2010. Babushaan and Riya dey bagged the award for best actor and actress for the film "Adhai akhra prem" which was directed by Sudhanshu Sahoo. This film also grabbed more five awards in different categories.

Jaydev award for the life time achievement was given to odia veteran director Apurb kishore bir. Swyamsidha was recognized as the best feature film in odisha and awarded the prestigious Mohan Sundar dey Goswami award.
In best director category Sudhanshu Sahoo was given the award for his film Swyamsidha. Namita Mallik similarly won for the best story category for the same movie Swyamsidha.

Adhai akhra prem won the award for best playback singer male and female the list includes for male as Babushaan for his song Dura akshra janhatiye and Ira Mohanty for Megha Sabari rea asib feri.

Mihir Das for best supporting actor male and Usashi Mishra for best actor female was awarded. Jeevan Panda awarded for the best comic role for the film Sanju au Sanjana.

Best child Artist category recognized master ankit for his brilliant act in the film Megha sabari ra asib feri. Special jury award was given to the Sidhant Mohapatra for his film Swyamsidha. Best lyricist was given to the Swaroop nayak and best music director award to abhijit mazumdar.
