The first ever Odisha Filmfare Awards was held on 27th November at Utkala Mandap, Bhubaneswar. Actor Sabyasachi and Barsha priya darshani walked away with best actor and best actress award respectively.

Film Journalist Parikshit jena and veteran actress Bhanumati devi were coveted with lifetime achievement awards.Both received cash prize of five thousand rupees. Mrs Bhanumati could not attend the event due to illness.The event witnessed dance performance from Item dancer madhusmita.Rock dance group and rangeela dance group also enthralled the audience with their performance.
