Special Package by OTDC on Puri Rathayatra 2011

As the Dev-Snan Purnima finished, Puri Dham is mostly engaged and preparing for the Car festival of Lord Jagannath on 3rd July of this year. Advance books most of the hotels, lodges, and dharmashalas before 2-3 months. In this year, OTDC started a special package for tour and watch the car festival at Puri in a minimal charge. The information about the special package by OTDC are available in this article.

As per the information by OTDC officers Mr. Alok Mishra, Manoranjan Pattnaik, Dr. Jyotishkar Mohapatra and B. B. Rath; there are some special buses arranged from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Rourkela and Berhampur OTDC Tourist Offices. At Puri, there is a special arrangement by OTDC passengers, who can watch the scene of car festival and return by the same vehicle arranged for them.

On July 3rd, early morning at 5 o'clock special bus will depart from Cuttack and from Bhubaneswar Pantha Nivas at 6 o'clock. The bus will return on same day before 7 pm after watching the festival. For this, the fare will be Rs. 2,555 per adult head and Rs. 2,005 per child (below 10 yrs.) head.
On July 2nd, evening at 9 pm special bus will depart from Sambalpur Pantha Nivas, towards Bhubaneswar and then, it will move towards Puri. The fare will be Rs. 4,770 per adult head and Rs. 4,220 per child head.
On July 2nd, evening at 5 pm special bus will depart from Rourkela Pantha Nivas, towards Bhubaneswar and then, it will move towards Puri. The fare will be Rs. 4,810 per adult head and Rs. 4,310 per child head.
On July 2nd, evening at 5 pm special bus will leave from Berhampur Tourist Office towards Bhubaneswar, and early morning it will move towards Puri. The fare will be Rs. 3,640 per adult head and Rs. 3,045 per child head.
