State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) is looking for dynamic person as Director, who will function as the Chief Executive Officer and to provide strategic direction and implementation of different alleviation and slum development programmes in urban areas.

State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), Orissa is the State Level focal agency to coordinate and implement poverty alleviation programmes in urban areas of the state like Swarna Jayanti Sahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY). SUDA is responsible to coordinate different employment training and skill up-gradation activities, to provide physical amenities in urban slums and to urban poor and low cost sanitation programmes.

SUDA invites application for the post of Director, who will be positioned at Bhubaneswar and report the affairs of the SUDA, to the Governing Body of SUDA/Government.

Educational Qualification for Director Job in SUDA Orissa

MSW/MA in Economics or any of the social sciences / MBA or equivalent from recognized and reputed institutions / Universities with 1st Class throughout the academic career.

Experience for Director Job in SUDA Orissa

Minimum 10 (ten) years of administrative experience in the area of poverty alleviation programme, social sector programme management, research and policy advisory. Familiarity in management & implementation of U.L.B. programmes will be an added advantage. The applicant should have excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Oriya language, good inter-personal skill, numerical and analytical skill and proficient in MS-Office applications.

Age Limit for Director Job in SUDA Orissa

Maximum age limit for the post is 55 (fifty five) years as on 01.05.2011.

Scale of Pay & allowances for Director Job in SUDA Orissa

A consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.40,000 (Rupees Forty thousand) only.

Tenure of Appointment for Director Job in SUDA Orissa

Initially for a period of 3 (three) years subject to extension based on annual performance review.
