Sahitya Academy Puraskar for year 2007 to 2008

Odisha Sahitya Academy announced its Awards for the year 2007 and 2008. The ‘Sahitya Academy Puraskar’ announcement held under the guidance of academic president Dr. Ramachandra Behera; who declared the awards for nine phases under Odia literature for this two year. However, the prizes will distribute first week of June followed by a grand ceremony.

The winners of 2007 Odisha Sahitya Academy Puraskar are:

- Manoj kumar mohapatra for novel 'Nirbana'
- Bishnu sahu for story 'Gotiye Gaanra Chitrapata'
- Aparna mohanty for poem 'Jhia pain jharkatiye'
- Ramachandra mishra for drama and play 'Ekanta nijaswa'
- Rabindra Prasad panda for essay and critics 'Madhyabittara aatma vichara'
- Rabi tipathy for biography and travel literature 'Kadambini aamari gaan jhia'
- Monalisa jena for translate 'Astaraga'
- Ramesh patri for shishu sahitya 'Chikunu O' chaddhei'
- Alekha Chandra padhiari for 'Geeti barnali'

- Prakash mohapatra for story 'Keeta O' anyanya galpa'
- Sunil kumar prusti for poem 'Tanulatara kavita'
- Prasanna das for drama and play 'Kimbadanti'
- Gouranga charan das essay and critics 'Sanskriti, jagatikarana O' mancha rajaniti'
- Manoranjan pradhan for biography and travel literature 'Godabarisha mishra'
- Asit mohanty for translate 'Bapu-mo maa'
- Manas ranjan samal for shishu sahitya 'Manachuwan geeta'
- Brundhaban jena for 'Preeti smruti hoi pheri aase'
