Cuttack is one of the oldest cities of Orissa. It was the Capital of Orissa prior to Bhubaneswar. This is a small but beautiful island in the Mahanadi river. This place can be reached by road on a hanging bridge or in a more romantic way by boat. The major attraction of this place is the beautiful Temple of Lord Shiva which is placed on a small hill with stairs leading up to the temple.

A beautiful and considered to be one of the most pious temples of lord Shiva. This is situated on State Highway 12 while going towards Paradeep from Cuttack. A place with a very serene atmosphere where you will love to spend a lot of time.
Situated on the opposite side of the Mahandi, Chowdwar acts as the most popular picnic spot while you are in Cuttack. It has lot of places where you can have bonfires, family picnincs or have a fun filled outing with friends.
