About Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya

JNV(Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya) is a school run by central government of India in all India including the state Orissa. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya follows CBSE course and is a english medium school. It has classes from VI to XII and each class has around 80 students divided into two sections containing 40 in each section. This admission entrance in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is to get lateral entry students for IX class because of some seats left vacant in some schools. This is a all India level entrance examination and only qualifying students will get a seat in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya's in their district.

Download the application form , fill it with blue pen and send the completed application to the Principal of the concerned district Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.You can send the application through Registered post else you are allowed to submit the application form in person too.

Issue of Admit card for the Entrance for Class IX in JNV

Once duly filled application is recived by the concerned school, it will be processed and you will get your Admit card through post latest by 25th Aril 2011. If you didn't receive your Admit card by 26th April 2011 then contact the principal of the your district Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.

Eligibility to get admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for IX class

* Students who have studied class 8th during the year 2010-2011 in any Government or government recognized schools are eligible for the entrance test.
* Students must have been passed 8th class and in the same district from where they are applying.
*Age limit is maximum 16 years and minimum 11 years for all categories

Venue- Concerned Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in your District
