The Lord Durga Puja is the festival of lord DURGA, In Saroi the lord Durga Puja has been arranged by village peoples, this village was the main important thing is all are Hindu and all are helping each other. The Durga Puja was started on the year of 1962. The Puja has been 48 years of glory, the last year 2000 peoples were in this place, the Puja main thing is the powers of lord Durga, the Puja is arranged here for 6 days, this village peoples are enjoying. This 6 days are named by the peoples are-
1-Sasthi
2-Saptami
3-Aastami
4-Nabami
5-Dasami
6-End of durga pooja
The First of Durga Puja of sasthi the village peoples are going to 1st aarati and 'Ganga snanha'. The 2nd thing is most powerful and Maa durga will rising this 'murti' because this village peoples are not remembering this days to her past day what he will bad things wil working. The 3rd thing is aastami this day the pooja will more powerful or important of those left 2 days, this day any vegetable will cutting in the front of Maa durga, this time the villagers are named as 'bali'. The 4th day is more reliable because this day also the 'bali' will occur the Puja is most powerful this day night because peoples are thinking this day the maa will give something the villagers, this day will peoples are not going to her home, villagers are sleeping this temple front free space areas. The 5th day is is most powerful other 4days because this day all peoples are going to throwing flowers Maa Durga because this thing is an most important thing because the villagers are thinking that the Maa Durga has been helping the peoples in the bad days or bad times , this day festival is many Utsav are there. The 5th day is Dasami this day many peoples are saying that the this is the last day of durga pooja because this day maa durga will falling the power in this murti, in the 12 night. ALL village peoples are not going this day or night her home because peoples are thinking that the maa durga will going to her home,this is the last night of durga Puja. Villagers are enjoying this night and all visiters also enjoying this night, the durga maa is one of the lord survive all these things, I am not saying that the other lord are not surviving, peoples are this night eating those thing that will publishing by durga Puja temple will give them.The last day or memorable day of the villagers is the Durga maa will falling down in the river,this day peoples are in a small truck the maa durga will sitting and going to falling down in the river.
