Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Orissa is an entrance examination conducted every year by Joint Entrance Examination Board on behalf of Orissa Government. This exam is the most popular examination for the students who wants to pursue Bachlor Courses like Post Engineering /Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, MBBS/BDS and Master Sources like Computer Application (MCA), Business Administration (MBA) in Orissa. JEE Entrance is compulsory to get admission in both Private and Government engineering colleges in Orissa.

Eligibility Criteria for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Orissa

For Bachelor Courses like Engineering /Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy and MBBS the candidates must have passed the XII Science examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% or appeared in the examination in boards CHSE, CBSE, and ICSE. The compulsory subjects are Mathematics and Physics and you should have one subject from Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Biotechnology. For Bachelor Courses like Hotel management XII pass out student from any stream like Science, Commerce or Arts can apply for it.
For Master Courses Candidates must have done their Bachelor degrees or have completed their 10+3 examinations with an aggregate of minimum 60% and having Mathematics as one of their subjects.

Application Procedure of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Orissa

Application form can be bought from major post offices and banks like Syndicate Bank and State Bank of India by paying the required fee for application form, Services charges and Value added tax. Application form need to filled in detail and affix 2 passport sized photograph in the application form and send it to the address mentioned by postal or courier service. It can also be deposited in the post office or bank from which you bought the application form.
