Xavior University, a new University in Orissa got approval from CM/Universities in Orissa

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the proposal of the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) for an university. XIMB authorities have identified the place near Pipili in Puri district to set up the University Campus.XIMB authority plan some extend in XIMB University such as a Rural Management school in Balangir district, a campus offering Business program as well as general courses (arts, commerce, science etc.) in Sambalpur district, a campus offering general courses in Bhubaneswar, a new institute run together with XLRI that will offer courses on HR, etc. There was earlier plans to offer B.Ed courses.
