Eligibility Criteria for IIT Talent hunt 2011

* For Class VIII : Class VIII continuing
* For Class IX : Class IX continuing
* For Class X : Class X continuing
* For Class XI : Class XI continuing
* For Class XII & XII Passed : Class XII continuing / Passed

Examination Pattern of IIT Talent hunt 2011

Examination Pattern for English Medium(CBSE/ICSE) Students:
Each Question Booklet contains 3 sections :
(Section A : Physics, Section B: Chemistry & Section C : Mathematics). In each Section there will be 5 Types of Questions
Type - I
Multiple Choice Questions with Single Correct Answer.
Carry 3 marks for each correct answer & deduction of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
Type - II
Multiple Choice Questions with More than One Correct Answers.
Carries 5 marks for each correct answer (If all correct option darkened) & no deduction of mark for wrong answer.
Type - III
Passages including Multiple Choice Questions with Single Correct Answer.
Carry 3 marks for each correct answer & deduction of1 mark for each wrong answer.
Type - IV
Column Matching Multiple Choice Questions (Single / More than one Correct Answers)
Carry 1 mark for each correct answer & no deduction of mark for wrong answer.
Type - V
Assertion / Reason
Carry 4 marks for each correct answer & deduction of1 mark for each wrong answer.
