You Can Just Go to "Save As" in Office 2007 and then click on "Word 2003" so that you can access your Microsoft 2007 documents in MS 2003.

Bhisma, Sorry but your idea will not work because If you have Office 2003 and you do not install the compatible pack for Office 2007 then you cannot open the file so can not go further.
But yes your idea will work if you open it on a different pc which has office 2007 and save it as .doc file. Copy to the other PC which has office 2003, Then only you can open it.
