Orissa remains low in national survey.

Orissa attained a low positon in the first ever survey conducted by the govt. on the basis of 8 well being criteria.

The Indian govt. conducted a recent survey on the well being criteria like education,hygiene,entertainment,communication,healthcare and transportation facilities in the country.

Orissa stayed at low levels in the survey along with Bihar and Jharkhand.

The 7 districts of orissa were categorised as below standards.

Rayagada and Kandhamal stood 1st and 2nd from the bottom list respectively.Nuapada was on 4th, balangir on 9th, koraput on 10th and bargarh on 19th.


Central Delhi was found out to be the best in the survey.
