Orissa's success in All India Open Karate Competition

Orissa got 8 Medals (5 Gold and 3 Bronze) in 26th All India Open Karate Competition.

The 26th All India Open Karate Competition was organized in Manali from 26th May to 30th May 2010. From Orissa, a team of 7 persons took part in this competition. The Orissa team got a very good success in this competition. Orissa got total 8 medals including 5 Gold Medal and 3 Bronze Medal in this competition. About 400 candidates took part in this event.

Sushanta Panda - Gold Medal in 55 KG Fight
Dillip Jena - Gold Medal in 18 - 21 yrs Category
Ambit Mohanty - Gold Medal in Color Belt Fight
Kamalesh Ray - 2 Gold Medals each in Kata and Fight ( 7-9 yrs Category)
Somanath Sahu - 2 Bronze Medal in Kata and Fight of 70 Kg Color Belt
Debashish Ghosh - Bronze Medal in 60 Kg Color Belt Fight
