Engineering university has a cut-off mark now

BPUT, the largest engineering university declares a cut off mark for admissions from the coming session.

Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, the unanimous technical university declares a cut-off mark for the students to get admitted in it from the next session.

The students should have minimum of 45% in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics in their 12th boards to be eligible for engineering studies.

Earlier, the university did not have any such criteria for the admissions but due to large number of B.Tech seats available in the state,almost everyone appearing the joint entrance were able to pursue engineering and were later not being able to cope up with the engineering studies due to the tough syllabus of the university.

So,the Chief Minister declared it that the university will hold the minimum cut off for the university to enhance the quality of engineering education in Orissa.
