Anu Chowdhury is the leading celebrity of Oriya silver screen.

Anu was born in Bhubaneswar the State capital city of Orissa. She is a daughter of an television serial producer of orissa. She was a student of R D Women's College. Anu graduated in home science previous to commencing an occupation as a film actress.

Subsequent to a long break, Anu returned in the Oriya silver screen with Tumehi Sathi Mora, a presentation of V R S Productions.
