Simlipal National Park

Simlipal is a place in Mayurbhanj district of Orissa. There is a National Park, Wildlife Sanctuary and a Tiger Reserve in Simlipal, covering a large area of 2750 Sq.Km. Some area covers thick forest also.

Visiting Simlipal National Park

Entry Permission is required to visit Simlipal National Park. The entry permission can be obtained from the Officer-in Charge, Pithabata check gate. You have to go through Pithabata check gate to enter Simlipal National Park.

Indian Nationals - Rs. 5/-
Foreigners - Rs. 100/-
Camera Charges extra

Timings Of Shimlipal National Park

Shimlipal National Park remains closed from 16th June to 31st October Every Year
So the Best Time to visit Shimlipal National Park is 1st November to 15th June.

Visitors can enter the park from 6 AM to 12 Noon, however visitors having reservation can visit the park from 6 AM to 2 PM.
