Odisha Bandh on 5th July
|
Yesterday, 1st of July in Bhubaneswar the ruling Biju Janata Dala and six other political parties CPI, CPI-M, Forward Block, JMM, RJD and SP met in a preparotory meeting for shutting down the state on 5th July, Monday. As per the leaders they are strongly opposing the recently announced price hike in Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene and cooking gas.
The normal life in Orissa is going to be hit as on the same day the Bharatiya Janata party and its allies are called for Bharat Bandh separately. The issue is same to oppose the price hike. But the spokesmen of Congress are clarifying that the price hike was needy in current international conditions.

| Posted By: soubhagya das Posted Date: 03 Jul 2010 | Strike should be called off There will be no impact on price decreasing in oil even they go for strike.
This is not fair practice that any Ruling party should go on strike against the central Government, because it is easily understandable that Price hike in oil is the reason because of International oil price and all Government Hike the price not only this Government.
So this is unnecessary and loss of crores of rupees
