Central Scholarships for degree students

According to a press note issued by the Secretary Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of India has sanctioned 6097 Scholarships for the meritorious students who have secured more than 80% marks in their intermediate examination and whose parents’ annual income is less than Rs. 4.5 lakh.
Each such eligible student will get Rs. 2000 per month for ten months every year of his degree or postgraduate course. The last date of submission of application is 30th September 2011. For further details, the candidates may see the website www.bieap.gov.in
