Job Description: Tata Steel Recruitment in Orissa 2011
1)Educational qualifications: Diploma in Engineering
* Mechanical * Electrical * Electronics * Instrumentation * Civil * Chemical
from any institute with a 3 years full-time diploma programme recognized by AICTE
Experience: After acquiring Diploma qualification, the candidates should have ammonium of 2 years working experience as on July 1, 2011.Experience in operations or Maintenance in Manufacturing/Power Plant/Steel Plant /Machine Shop will be given preference.
Emolument: The selected candidates will be placed with a starting Basic Pay of Rs.11,000/-pm in the grade of Rs.11,000/-350-17,300pm,fixed DA of Rs.500/-pm and Variable DA as applicable. Monthly Gross=Rs.17,960/- and CTC =Rs.3.30 lakh per annum (including cost of benefit and retrials). Those with experience of 4 years or more will be suitably compensated.
2)Educational qualifications: All India Trade Test for Apprentices pass(National Apprenticeship certificate) from NCVT in trades of
*Fitter(mechanical) *Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance
*Millwright Maintenance Mechanic *Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant)
*Machinist *Turner *Welder *Blacksmith
Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience (as on July 1,2011) after passing All India Trade Test for Apprentices Experience in Operator-ions or Mechanical Maintenance in Manufacturing/Power Plant/Steel Plant /Machine Shop / Fabrication Shop / Forging will be given preference.For candidates who have passed ITI / ITC (possessing National Trade Certificate), and then passed all India Trade Test for Apprentices (National Apprenticeship Certificate ) from NCVT,years of experience will be counted after passing ITI / ITC .It will not include one year apprenticeship period which is mandatory for appearing in AIIT for Apprentices.
Emolument: The selected candidates will be placed with a starting Basic Pay of Rs. 8,000/-pm in the grade of Rs.8,000/-250-12,500pm,fixed DA of Rs.500/-pm and Variable DA as applicable. Monthly Gross=Rs.13,590/- and CTC =Rs.2.55 lakh per annum (including cost of benefit and retrials). Those with experience of 4 years or more will be suitably compensated.
Entitlements: They will be eligible for Company accommodation, subject to its availability,on payment of nominal rent as per rules. Unit such time they are not proided Company accommodtion, they will be entitled to get House Allowance,Productivity-linked monthly bonus. Night Shift Allownce, Annual Bonus, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Facilities in Co.'s Hospital and Contributory PF.
Mark: minimum 55% mark aggregate in all subject of the Diploma/AITT for Apprentices as the case may be. In case of SC/ST candidates the minimum marks will be 50%.. In case of large number of applicants,the minimum cut-off marks may be increased to call only a requisite number of candidates for the written test.
Maximum Age Limit: 32 years as on 1st July, 201. Foe SC/ST maximum age limit will be 35 years.
Selection Procedure: By written Test followed by interview and Medical Examination.
Service Bond: At the time of joining , the selected candidates will be have sign a Service Bond to Serve the Company for a period of two years. Bond vlue for Diploma Holders= Rs.2 Lakhs only on pro-rate basis.
Bond value for All India Trade Test for Apprentices pass candidates with NAC= Rs.1.5 Lakhs only on pro-rate basis.
No objection Certificate (NOC) : All candidates who qualify in the written test and are permanent employees of any of the Tata Group company or subsidiary of Tata Steel will need to bring their NOC at the time of interview without which they will not be interviewed.
