Twin abductions in Odisha: Do you supports government decision or Cops decision?

In Odisha, Naxals abducted two persons last month. One of them is an Italian tourist and other is a MLA of ruling party. Naxals demanded release of naxal leaders and put pressure on the state government.
Naveen Patanaik government almost agreed to release the naxal leaders to save the lives of these two innocents. Suddenly the crisis is worsening as the Odisha Police Association start opposing the release of the maoist leaders.
Yes, it is true that many brave soldiers sacrificed their life in the fight against Maoists. Now the decision of government embraced them and forced them to take such steps. They threaten to the government that they will boycott their duties in naxal affected areas if the naxals leaders are freed.

Really, it is a very difficult situation for our state government. I think the government should take the confidence of police before taking a step forward. We must not trust Maoists, their main aim to demoralize our cops.

What is your view on this sensitive issue? Do you feel it is right to release maoist leaders? Is it possible that Maoists will not repeat such incidents in further?

Really it is a big matter of concern for both, the Govt and Police dept. As per my opinion, in this time Govt of Odisha is doing its best. Releasing of Maoists is not a big cause or achievement for them. However, being a common man or Police personnel, it hurts too much as we lost our several brothers, relatives and friends to caught them; and releasing them under pressure is a kind of cowardliness. However, the Govt has no other source, it is not so optimized and developed as American countries so that to attempt Gorilla wars or commando attacks to rescue them. The Italian traveler who's been staying in our state since a long time and the other one is also a part of our ministry; both are important to us. Its our prime duty to save them at any cost; so their releasing is first prior to us. Hope the cops will understand the matter and stand for the Govt not against the Govt.
Facing challenges again and again without looking backward is the nature of a soldier; begging, looting, black mailing are the nature of cowards (Maoists).

Really it is a tough situation for Govt. of Odisha. Govt. has accepted the demand of the maoists to release naxal leaders under the pressure from both Human rights commission and Central Govt. At this juncture, no other option is available in the hand of Naveen Govt. But the cops are also wright to boycott their duties. Every moment, they are playing with their lives by performing their duties in naxal affected areas. Hence their decision is quite understandable. First of all Govt. has to stick with its decision to release. Once the italian and the minister freed from maoists, then the Govt. should take some serious steps to root out the maoists like Andhra Pradesh did.
    Thanks & Regards
    Krishna
