    70 special police stations to be created in Naxal affected areas in Odisha

    Central of govt of India approved 120 crore rupees to create 400 special police station in Naxal affected areas in India. In 9 states, 83 dangerous Naxal zones were mark-outed. In 83 zones, total 400 special police station will be created; 85 in Bihar, 75 in Chhatishgarh, 75 in Jharkhand, 70 in Odisha, 40 in Andhra Pradesh, 18 in West Bengal, 15 in Uttar Pradesh, 12 in Madhya Pradesh and 12 in Maharashtra. Each station will cost around 2 crore rupees with 40 police officers. Let us see, how it will work to fight against Naxals in Odisha and other states of India.

    It is a sensible move by central Govt. to put some break in naxal movements. We have to wait for the time for the result out of it. But the Expenditure of 2 crores per each police station seems to be little bit high.
