Spurious Liquor Death Case: Bed luck or Pre Planned Dirty Politics

    Dear Members,

As you know spurious liquor consumption took more than 34 lifes in Cuttack Dist. At that time it was looking like an accident. Lot of politics were happen on this issue in the recent past days.

But in reality it was not an accident. Rather it was a pre-planned dirty politics. The culprits behind the politics are IAS Prafulla Mishra and Four honourable ministers of Odisha Legislative Assembly. It is alleged from the investigation by police that IAS Mishra was made incharge temporarily of Excise Dept. because of leave of Excise Commissioner. It was the first step and beginning of the plan. Because of Pressure of the Four Ministers and taking opportunity of the authority IAS Mishra has granted licence of use of Ethyl Alchol for preparation of Medicines like Epi-Charm and Cinamen to Eastern India Pharma. These two drugs which were found in the spurious liquor.

Note that the Company Eastern India Pharma was earlier denied licence to use of Ethyl Alchol. And Prafulla Mishra was the main culprit in the 2002 Beverage Corporation Scam and many more.

Is it not a dirty politics? How govt. can appoint a person as a head, who is involved in many scams? And how three month pending licence can be granted to a company whose integrity is in doubt? All are part of the plan.

Members are invited to comment on this important issue.

Hi Krishna, I am very happy to know the clear matter about the illicit alcohol death issue. In addition, I am so disappointed by hearing how the politicians uses and plays with the lives of people for their personal benefits. Its totally a dirty politics, as you said and the culprits should be caught and strictly punished by the High court as soon as possible.

It should not be counted as a political issue because it won't have any impact on political equation of Odisha. This proves that the corruption level in Odisha government. By receiving high bribes these ministers and related officers granted licence to those illegal factories to produce such harmful medicines(liquors). Our CM Naveen Patanaik must look this matter very seriously and take appropriate steps against these convicted ministers and officers.
    With regards,

    Vicky
