Yeah. Its a good step by Higher Education Dept. to improve and control the education system of Odisha. But it should not limit to questioning only. Further steps to be taken to overcome the huddles.

There are several reasons for poor admission into Govt. Colleges. One of it may be opening of more and more Residental Colleges. And Parents are more interested in providing specific improved education to their children. It means the procedure of education or the standard of education in Govt. Colleges is not upto the mark or below standard. So the parents are moving more and more towards expensive qualitative education.

Lack of interest both by teachers and students may be the reason for poor performence in Exams. Higher Education Dept. has to analyse the reason of degradation of interest in both teaching and learning.

However, Higher Education Dept. has already moved its first step by questioning 82 colleges. So we can hope for some more steps towards it.

    Thanks & Regards
