Respected Sir/Madam,
The health system of Odisha is now regulated by National rural health mission which was lunched in odisha since jun 2005. All the staff requirement are done in 2007 and it was in contractual basis. A number of health managers and health providers are working since 2007 in different headquaters. It includes the DPM, DAM, different co-ordinaters, BPO, BADA,etc in administrative level and The Ayush doctors in PHC level. In the todays date The Ayush doctors are managed all the PHCs also the different mobile health units. All the Ayush doctors are attached with all the National programes. It is a very sorrowful thing that till today the Govt of Odisha doesn't take any step to regularise them. Than what will be the future of those contractual employees? Isn't in dark? All the staffs already worked for five year. Isn't it the Govt.'s responsible to take desission about their future ?

Dear Friends,

The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha should take necessary action on this issue and make safe the life of this employees by confirming their positions in various levels.

These persons are considered as most important people for welfare of the the state. The necessary amount should be allocated in the state budget. This will make happy of those employees and it would be a motivation to them to work more better in future.

With regards,

S.Manoharan.

According to your report, if they already worked more than five years, then the government should take appreciated steps to make them permanent employee. As I know our CM must take relative steps to care for the future of all employee. I feel there may be some technical problems behind it. I can not comment or suggest on this issue without reading the contract document.

With regards,

Vicky

While appointing persons in contractual basis, there happens to be some terms and conditions of appointment. there may be some specified period there unless the employees would have been confirmed. Hence commenting this issue needs a thorough knowledge of the terms of the appointment.

Thanks & Regards
Krishna

Yes, I do agree with Krishna. We have to look at the agreement and its conditions before blaming any institution or government. Always government puts an agreement before posting for such temporary posts. In that agreements they clearly mention that employees can not able to claim for permanent jobs in future. Few people won't read the agreement carefully and just puts their signature blindly with a false confident that they may get regular job in future. For this we should not blame the government or the institution, as we agreed with the agreement while joining the post.

With regards,

Vicky
