Pachayat Polls: Congress in puzzle.

Very recently Odisha is going to face Panchayat polls in different districts. Again the result is going towards BJD only. Experts believe that once again Naveen Patanaik led BJD will sweep these polls. The congress is not going to get any benefit from this election. Really, the congress party unable to give a strong fight to the ruling party BJD, because its position in central level is not quite good. Many central ministers are in jail because of corruption charges. Due to partiality behaviour Odisha people also won't like this party.

Do you believe Congress can be bounce back in this elections?

I hope the same, as you described. As the opposition party Congress is having strong in Odisha as compared to BJP and CPI/M; but it will fail to tackle with BJD Govt. As critics says, BJD did a balncing performance in its time; which can be justified by Congress, if the central govt. UPA succeeded. However, as UPA govt. failed in every manner to serve the mankind; so, there will be no chance for Congress in Odisha nor in Centre.

The present political scenario in Odisha as well as in Centre is against Congress. Though UPA is the rulling Govt. in Centre,but their recent failures to tackle the Food Inflation, Petrol prices and involvement of certain ministers in Corruption activities has created a question mark on their ability and integrity. The effect of the same will have a negative consequence on their performence in forthcoming panchayat elections. The performence of BJD govt. in Odisha since a decade is quite commendable, though it is in a degrading trend. It is an added advantage for them. Hence, I feel and believe that the forthcoming panchyat election may be a nightmare for Congress Pary in Odisha.
