It is very unfortunate that Bird flu is spreading in Oidsha. It is initially found in Khurda district. After suspicious death of two birds in a farm, the dead birds were sent to laboratory to find out the reason for the death. It was shocked all as these birds found H5N1 positive. Slowly this spread many districts of Odisha. On the recent news report, Bird flu has been reported from Betanati in Mayurbhanj district and Paradip which is in Jagatsinghpur district. So, to control spread of this virus government ordered to kill all the birds of that region. Government also declared to provide finance and other helps to these farms. Now the egg supply also affected in Oidsha.
So, it is an apple to all people take care and avoid bird meat for few days.

With regards,

Vicky

Dear Vicky,

Thank you very much to you for sharing the very important news with us. This is a very serious issue and it should be handled very carefully. The state government should take all necessary steps and precautionary measures to stop this disease before which is going to spread all over the state.

The public should also get aware themselves about this issue in the state and make safe themselves from this one. The government hospitals of various districts of Odisha should be in alert and get ready to give the treatment to the affected one.

Dear Vicky,
It is a very useful information that You have shared with us. But I am sure that it is not a happy information for those who is fond of Chicken. I strongly agree with you that they should give up chiken for some days and manage with mutton or apple. The step of Odisha govt. to provide financial assistance to the affected Farm owners is also appreciable.
@Chicken Loving Friends- Don't worry, our govt. is taking steps and very soon you will get chicken for taste.Till then stay with mutton and apple only.

Thanks & Regards
Krishna

The bird-flu has affected mostly in coastal and north-west region of Odisha. As per the govt. order thousands of hens and chickens were killed and dumped. Due to this bird flu, number of crows too died and recently honey-bees are too died in the district of Mayurbhanj. This is one of the great losses in Odisha.

Naresh Kumar
