Two matches of IPL -V in cuttack.

According to latest information, there are two matches of IPL - V is going to organize in Barabati stadium, Cuttack. In April 19 and 22, Decan Charges will be faced to Delhi Dare Davils and Kolkata Knight Riders respectively. As the above teams are full of many international players and the Kolkata Knight Rider owner Shahrukh may come to here, it will able to attract many people. Some time I feel if we have an Odisha team in the IPL then it can create many opportunities for our players. Do you feel is there any possibility of having such a team in IPL from Odisha in near future?

Hi Vicky,

Actually the credit goes to Mr. Ashirwad Behera (President of Odisha Cricket Association) who is also a member of IPL and BCCI. Recently All India Women T-20 Cricket Tournament at Cuttack already finished. Due to Mr. Behera's effort and contribution, Odisha is getting and will get many number of chances in Cricket. However, IPL team was not selected till now. There may be a chance of selecting Odia cricketers.

It will be grate if we get a team from Odisha in IPL. What is the name of the team? Is it Odia Paika Sena?

Hi Vicky,

It is really good news for us that we can enjoy the IPL-5 match in Odisha also by sitting in the stadium. After two long year gap, IPL-5 is coming to Odisha. It is possible because of Shri Ashirwad Behera. And as far as IPL team from Odisha is concerned, It is possible but difficult. Strong financer is required for a team, which seems to be a difficult task for Odisha team. Talent is there, but our Odia players have to prove it so that they can get a chance to play in the other approved IPL teams.
Be optimistic,we may see some of our players in IPL team in near future.
