Dear Members,
Mr.Subash Gond who he is the candidate of BJD won in the by-election of Umerkote, Nabarangpur District of Odisha. The by-election of this constituency was held on November 30th, 2011 due to the death of Umerkote M.L.A., Jagabandhu Majhi who he was killed by Maoist on 24th Septemper, 2011. Mr.Subash Gond got 54,713 votes which is huge difference with the BJP candidate, Mr.Dharmu Gond who got 33,652 votes only. The Congress candidate, Mr.Jatrinda Gond secured 32,877 votes which shows some improvement when compared to last election votes of Congress party.

We know that Odisha political equation is very different. In Odisha we know that the opposition is very weak and no party or leader is in the state who can give a competition to Naveen Patanaik run BJD. The prime opposition party congress position is not good in central level so also in state level. Because of his partiality nature and no helping nature towards Odisha people won't have any faith on that party. Next, after cut off for BJD, BJP position also not good in the state. And the performance of our CM is satisfactory. He initiated many good projects and take the progress of Odisha forward. So, it is not a surprise matter for us. Obviously it is Naveen hawa, which helped to won Umorkote constituency. I think to back in to the main stream of politics, the congress party have to work hard. They must initiative some good projects for Oidsha in higher level. Then only they can able to change the political equation of Odisha.
