Dear friend,
The cancellation of approval and close the AMRI hospital will not be a solution for the fore accident. The government and the management of the hospital should take necessary steps to prevent this kind of fire accident in future.
The awareness programme should be conducted in hospitals and safety measures and fire prerventing equipment shoulb be installed in hospitals. This kind of steps to be taken to avoid fire accident in future.
With regards,
S.Manoharan.

I think all state governments must learn from that accident and must try to improve safety measures in Hospitals.

@ vicky. AS far my knowledge is concerned, safety measures are already prescribed for the hospitals. But they are neither followed strictly nor reviewed by the Govt. Those who are not following their licence should be cancelled and they are not allowed to open their business anywhere.
I can say onething, prevention is better than cure. So, Govt. has to monitor the implementation of measures strictly. Because cancellation of licence may prevent happening of previous accident once again in future but can't return the lifes lost. So preventive measures may save lifes.

Without NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from all the sections like fire fighting and police etc, opening of such hospitals should be restricted wherever they want to install. It is found that AMRI had not cleared with their NOCs from the fire fighting department. And they had stored some chemicals in their basement, which is strictly banned. So, if the Hospital management are not following any measures to stop acting on these measures, there license should not be passed.

@Ataul Haque, It you are confident that AMRI had not cleared its NOCs then how does it possible for such big hospital to function for a long time. Don't you feel its indicates smell of corruption? Such situations are avoidable and preventable but our governments not willing to take such strong steps because they fear of loosing party funds.
