Hi all,
Today was the vote counting date of Umerkot by election and in the result of Umerkot by election, BJD candidate Subash Ganda won this constituency with getting 54,713 votes. In this election BJP candidate Dharmu Ganda got 33,652 votes and Congress candidate got 32877 votes.

What do you think about this winning of BJD in Umerkot ? Was the EVM tampered or other parties lost due to their less popularity. Share your views about the by election in Umerkot of Odisha.

Earlier Umerkot Constituency was won by BJD only. So there was a great chance of winning it in by-election by BJD. EVM tampering may be there. But as per me, the popularity of Navenn Govt. is the main cause. If EVM tampering was there, the margin of winning would not have been more.

Thanks & Regards
Krishna

I am also thinking like that, cause the same EVM machines are also supplied by Congress govt to other states of the country. So it is a fake news, that the EVM machines were tampered.

Of course its the CM Naveen pattnaik's popularity which has helped the BJD govt to win again this constituency of Umerkote with such a huge margin.
Naveen pattnaik is getting more and more popular with his development work in the capital city and other big cities. It is only in his regime that now the Bhubaneswar is the third fastest growing city in India.
this is really a great achievement by the govt of Odisha, which has made this achievement in so less time. This strengthens the faith of people on their CM and they vote just seeing the face of Chief Minister.
We are soon to see some more and fast development work in the state with this govt.
