Yes Mr Manoharan, Its a great news for our state that Orissa became Odisha and Oriya became Odia. We are very happy with this change. I have also written one article about the new name of Orissa. Yes, it is better to be Odisha than Orissa, because it represents more Odia language than Orissa. While pronouncing Odisha we feel more emotionally attachment with our Odisha and Odia. With regards, Vicky (Expect for the best but prepare for the worst) IndiaStudyChannel
